for you. 54 by the delta with we have a southwest wind and clear skies right now. the clouds are, of course, over the bay right now, but the sun will begin to come out and we will favor the forecast with sunshine today. then the rain arrives late tomorrow night after the giants game, and then snow for the sierra nevada on monday. only mid-to late october, pretty strong storm system. here's a look at all the moisture that is out in the pacific. that's what we are looking at as our area of high pressure continues to hold on for today and most of tomorrow. it's this batch of moisture that's going to be sent in on the heels of a cold front. here's the timing of it. 11:00 sunday night, looks like we will see some rain. in fact, the lighter rain in the north bay and the south bay and the front st. louis up to the north and west with the yellows right there. and with the front we will get the heaviest rain, the gustiest winds, and it looks like unfortunately right in time for the monday morning commute.

7:00. it only clears the extreme north bay, and then through the 8:00, 9:00 hour, 10:00 it goes through the bay area. so it's a quick mover but the timing couldn't be worse. by noontime we will get some clearing but this is not the end. we have another system that's going to pivot on through here come tuesday. but rainfall precipitation, the accumulation through 5:00 monday brings anywhere from a quarter to half-inch on the peninsula, a half-inch to inch in the santa cruz mountains and up to an inch in the north bay. you will see lesser amounts into the east bay with maybe a tenth in the south bay. pretty decent and with temperatures today in the 70s and 80s, it's pretty quick transition from the dry, stable, sunny air to the rainy pattern. 74 in campbell today. it should be a nice day in the south bay with low 70s returning for redwood city and pacifica. hopefully we will get the clearing toward the coast today. counting on the sunshine downtown with 70 there.

up in the north bay, 672347 calistoga. near east bay look for low 70s for oakland today. 73 in fremont and out over the hills numbers will be in the mid-upper 70s. so a beautiful day for our east bay valleys. it's cloudy here. partly cloudy throughout the morning hours in monterey, and then a sunny afternoon and tomorrow you can expect breezy, cloudy conditions throughout the afternoon. and the rain, not until by about 10:00, 11:00." it's going to be a close call but we are counting on dry conditions. then look at the rain chance right through midweek. >> all right. thank, lisa. a california company has found a solution to a common problem in the modern digital world. how do you keep your batteries charged when you are out and about? 7 on your side's michael finney finds out if the solution really works. we love our smartphones. we enjoy taking our music with us. we get lost without our gps. well, now bicyclists can stay connected without fear of draining the batteries. all thanks to this contraption from eco x-gear, called eco
